Tushar and Preeti

We met in college in 1999. Neither of us really know how we met, but the consensus is that it was because of a mutual friend. We were really acquaintances through much of college, seeing each other at the gym or walking with a big back pack to and from the library.

In 2002, Preeti started her first year in med school, and it was my second year. We had already started becoming better friends. I even helped her search for apartments at MSU where she was accepted prior to being accepted at Wayne State Medical School. We bonded over watching Alias on TV, and soon started dating.

We got through the hardest parts of med school together, and the toughest Intern Years in residency. We've been together for almost 5 years (on October 19th 2007), have helped each other through things that are too many to count.
